Today, we had the pleasure of enjoying a concert by a remarkable pianist Paula Jadrušić, a student of the Academy of Music in Zagreb. Through her rich concert program, she showed exceptional technical skills, musicality, and an impressive level of interpretation.

Biography:
Paula Jadrušić (Dubrovnik, 2001) is a piano student at the Zagreb Academy of Music under the guidance of Prof. Dalibor Cikojević. She spent two years of her studies on an Erasmus+ exchange program at the Private University of Music and Arts in Vienna in the class of Prof. Doris Adam. As a soloist and chamber musician, she has won numerous awards at national and international competitions, including first prizes at the International Competition for Young Musicians "Daleki akordi" (2012, 2014), the International Piano Competition "Jurica Murai Memorial" (2015), and the International Piano Competition in Tivat (2018).
She has attended masterclasses by renowned pianists and pedagogues such as Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Markus Schirmer, Maria João Pires, Jokut Mihailović, Ruben Dalibaltayan, Dragomir Bratić, and Sergio de Simone. Paula has performed as a soloist with the Zagreb Soloists and the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra. Her performances include appearances at the Young Pianists’ Festival in Varaždin, the Epidaurus Festival in Cavtat, the 69th Dubrovnik Summer Festival at the closing concert of the International Piano Workshop led by Maria João Pires, and concerts at the Croatian Music Institute in Zagreb and the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral in Rijeka.
She is the recipient of the Rector’s Award from the University of Zagreb for the academic year 2020/2021 for her solo performance with the Zagreb Soloists, as well as the Oskar znanja award for the school year 2017/2018, which she earned by winning the absolute first prize at the National Competition of Music Students (Chamber Ensembles, 2017).
