Today, we were honored to welcome Trio Stretta, a chamber ensemble from the Academy of Music Zagreb featuring an unusual combination of instruments: flute, guitar, and violin. Their performance captivated the audience with its unique blend of sounds, showcasing the versatility and harmony of this extraordinary trio.

Vigo Kovačić: MAE Neki Rondo

Lana Janjanin: Nobody's Folklore: Folk song no. 2,

F. Carulli: Tri divertimenta, op.149, br. 2

J. Kreutzer: Trio, op. 9, br. 3

Biography:

Trio Stretta began its journey in 2023 at the Zagreb Academy of Music. Comprised of 4th- and 5th-year students, the trio continues to work consistently into the new academic year. Despite the short time since its formation, Trio Stretta is dedicated to learning new and original compositions by young composers from the Academy. They enjoy exploring intriguing and unconventional music that aligns with the possibilities of this unique ensemble. In addition to premiering new works, Trio Stretta also performs and revives rarely played pieces from the Classical period, which are seldom heard due to the ensemble’s unusual combination of instruments.

What a beautiful initiative. The combination of flute, guitar, and violin must have created such a delicate and intimate atmosphere, especially in a clinical setting. It’s inspiring to see young musicians not only performing classical repertoire but also supporting contemporary composers from their academy. I recently read something on https://direwolfseo.co.uk/ about how live music can positively influence wellbeing in unexpected spaces, and this concert feels like a perfect example of that. Bravo to Trio Stretta for bringing such thoughtful artistry to the community.

Some discussions about learning choices start with exploring practical and accessible programmes. The term level 3 course is often mentioned when learners talk about gaining hands-on knowledge in a field. It is generally linked to preparing for responsibilities in a specific area. The College of Contract Management is occasionally referenced in professional education conversations. These topics usually stay neutral.
